Let’s Talk Story
A life story book and keepsake for my family
This memory book is an excellent way for grandparents of Japanese ancestry to “talk story,” reflect on their life journey, and document a lasting legacy for future generations. The journal’s thoughtful questions are culturally specific to Japanese Americans, and encourage deep reflection and authentic conversation between multiple generations. With 100 thought-provoking and lighthearted prompts designed to spark forgotten moments from childhood, school days, adulthood, holidays and celebrations, and beyond, this journal will provide joyful reminiscing with loved ones.
The book is beautifully illustrated by Nisei WWII veteran and artist Ben Suechika, and includes an envelope to store keepsakes and mementos.
